Specific process for primary negotiations pertaining to state sector fixed-term employment (STAVA)

Process for primary negotiation regarding state sector fixed-term employment (STAVA)

  1. The department wishing to use a STAVA completes the template and attaches relevant documents in accordance with the template.
  2. The MBL contact person creates a case in ServiceNow and attaches the template and relevant documents to the case.
  3. The HR/Employer Support section receives the case and schedules a negotiation time (not on Tuesdays).
  4. During the negotiation, the department is represented by the responsible manager, local HR, and trade unions. The HR section chairs the negotiation and acts as the secretary.
  5. Follow-up on how the process works and lessons learned from current cases will take place once the parties have negotiated several different cases.
