Overtime and additional hours

Occasionally, managers must ask an employee to work more than their regular hours. Here you can read about managing overtime and additional hours.

Under the Working Time Act, an employer is obliged to keep records of additional hours and overtime. This also applies to overtime in connection with flexible working hours.

As a manager, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable regulations, which includes an obligation to check that records are kept and that the limits for overtime and additional time are not exceeded.
